King Charles and Queen Camilla have finally concluded their successful four-day state visit to Italy with major celebration amid Prince Harry's legal battle in the UK over security protection.
The King and Queen showed off their cooking skills during a festival in the historic city of Ravenna on their final day, April 10.
The King, who loves Italian culture, appeared relaxed as he toured the festival grounds. Despite the pressures of his ongoing health issues, the 76-year-old showed no signs of strain as he willingly engaged with the public in the summery Italian weather.
During their historic visit, Charles and Camilla had a brief private meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican. Pontiff, who has been seriously ill, offered his best wishes for their 20th wedding anniversary, which the royal couple marked on Wednesday, April 9.
The royal family shared pictures and videos of the King and Queen's visit as they returned to home.
The photos were captioned: "Celebrating traditional Emilia-Romagna cuisine, Slow Food, and delicious produce at Piazza del Popolo!"
Crowds in Ravenna waited for hours in the Italian sunshine on Thursday to catch a glimpse of the royal visitors before their departure to England.
"I must say it really is very good of you, Mr President, to lay on this small romantic, candle-lit dinner for two," the King joked at a state banquet held at the Quirinal Palace in Rome.
