Jamie Borthwick has reportedly been given the boot by his girlfriend in the wake of the Strictly Come Dancing scandal. The EastEnders actor was dating Chloe during his stint on the BBC programme and its subsequent live tour.

However, it appears that Jamie and Chloe have now parted ways. "Strictly was a whirlwind for Jamie and they managed to keep it going when he was on the show. But Chloe dumped Jamie when he finished the Strictly tour. She said she felt like Jamie didn't have time for her," an insider revealed to The Sun.

"Seeing the video of him with the sex toy and acting so weirdly made her realise it was the right choice. Jamie acts like a boy in a man's body. She doesn't have time for that."

This follows the emergence of a video showing EastEnders star Jamie, 30, waving around a sex toy sent to him by Go Compare opera singer Wynne, 53.

The uncomfortable incident has caused controversy as it's alleged the footage was shared within a messaging group containing other Strictly stars - who reportedly neither anticipated nor desired to be part of such a sexually suggestive exchange, reports the Mirror.

Given that many Strictly stars are seen as family-friendly figures with pristine reputations, there are concerns their images could be sullied due to Jamie and Wynne's purported conduct.

Video surfaced featuring Jamie and Wynne flippantly discussing a sex toy while travelling on The Strictly Live Tour 2025.

This recording is believed to have taken place mere days after an incident in which Wynne made a sexually suggestive remark about professional dancer Janette Manrara.

Following these events, Wynne found himself removed from the tour, leaving fans astounded by the developments.

It's understood the controversial video involving a sex toy had been circulated amongst celebrity participants in the Strictly Come Dancing WhatsApp group.

A source shared with The Sun over the weekend: "As soon as BBC executives were made aware of this shocking and immature footage being shared they formally addressed the issue and reminded the pair they had to act professionally."

The same source added: "The men were acting extremely immaturely and inappropriately, considering it was a family show, and many cast members didn't share their crass sense of humour. Bosses were horrified and shocked, hoping to nip the issue in the bud, unaware the video had been shared more widely."

According to the footage obtained by The Sun, EastEnders actor Jamie shows that the toy was sent to Birmingham's Utilita Arena reception courtesy of Wynne. He presents the item before swivelling the camera to reveal contestant Wynne, shirtless during a rehearsal with Neil Jones.

In the excerpt, Jamie remarks: "Look at what he bought me. I opened it up and he surprised me with this, didn't he. It's so funny."

After the video details emerged, Wynne addressed the recent controversy by turning to social media.

On Sunday afternoon, he updated his Instagram story with an image showcasing a garden scene as seen from an ice bath. His caption read: "Ice bath view. Love to you all #mentalhealth."

Prior to this post, he had uploaded a picture of himself taking a dip in a lake, accompanied by the words: "I find cold water swimming helps with my mental health. Please look after each other."
