Glasgow’s indie rock icons Franz Ferdinand return to Australia this November and December, bringing their electrifying live performances to fans across the nation. The band will be touring in support of their critically acclaimed sixth studio album, The Human Fear, released in January 2025.
Teenage Dads and Delivery will be special guests for all shows, except for Anita’s Theatre, Thirroul, which will feature support from Delivery only.
Named after The Archduke Frans Ferdinand of Austria and formed in 2002 in Glasgow, Scotland, Franz Ferdinand has become synonymous with infectious indie rock, with hits like “Take Me Out,” “Walk Away,” and “This Fire,” they have won many accolades including 2005 BRIT Awards for Best Rock Act and Band, 2004 Mercury Prize, and numerous Grammy Award nominations plus two ARIA top ten albums.
