SEVEN NEWS. A CHILLING DASH CAM VIDEO SHOWING A MAN’S FINAL MOMENT. THAT PART WE ARE NOT GOING TO SHOW YOU. BUT HIS FAMILY SAYS THE VIDEO TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY THAN WHAT THEY WERE TOLD AT THE SCENE OF A FATAL CRASH IN MARCH. FAITH EGBUONU HAS THEIR REACTION. SUSPECTED ROAD RAGE TURNED DEADLY. A MOTHER ON A QUEST FOR ANSWERS. I JUST WANT JUSTICE FOR MY SON. HER SON ENRIQUE HAD JUST LEFT HIS FIANCEE’S HOME ON A CHILLY FRIDAY NIGHT IN MARCH, WHEN THINGS TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORSE. I HAVE GPS LOCATOR ON HIS CAR, AND IT SHOWED THAT THERE WAS AN IMPACT. HIS HIS PHONE CALLED FROM ACCIDENT RESPONSE 911, WHICH NOTIFIED MY MOM BECAUSE THEY HAVE SERVICE TOGETHER. SHE CALLED ME IMMEDIATELY AND I STARTED CALLING ENRIQUE AND HE WASN’T ANSWERING. A NIGHTMARE. WE GOT DOWN THERE AS FAST AS WE COULD. AND THEN FINALLY, AFTER WHAT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER, THEY GAVE ME A LITTLE WHITE PAPER TO CALL. THE SERGEANT TOLD ME THAT HE DIDN’T MAKE IT IN THE ACCIDENT. THE OTHER DRIVER SUFFERED NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES, TELLING OFFICERS ENRIQUE WAS TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, CLIPPED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF HIS CAR, WHICH CAUSED THEM TO COLLIDE. AND THAT JUST DIDN’T SIT RIGHT WITH ME. HOWEVER, DASH CAM VIDEO FROM ENRIQUE’S CAR TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY. I DIDN’T WATCH THE VIDEO FOR A WHILE UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO GET THE POLICE REPORT ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF. TWO WEEKS LATER. A GOOD SAMARITAN SENDING THIS ENVELOPE TO ENRIQUE’S MOTHER. WEEKS LATER. AND WHEN I DECIDED TO OPEN IT, I NOTICED THIS WAS THE DASH CAM THAT WAS IN HIS CAR THAT WE HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR. I ALSO RECEIVED HIS DRIVER’S LICENSE, HIS SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, AND A LITTLE NOTE THAT SAID THESE WERE FOUND AT COORS AND SEQUOIA. AND I BROUGHT THE OF THE SD CARD TO A FRIEND OF MINE THAT WORKS WITH IT, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO RECOVER A DELETED FILE, WHICH WAS THE ENTIRE ACCIDENT. I WAS LIKE, THIS IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE DASH CAM VIDEO. ENRIQUE IS SEEN MERGING, PASSING THE OTHER CAR. MOMENTS LATER, THAT CAR SPEEDS UP TOWARD ENRIQUE’S MERGES OVER THREE LANES, THEN BRAKE CHECKS, CAUSING ENRIQUE TO LOSE CONTROL, INJECTING HIM FROM HIS CAR. PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE. WE PAUSED THE VIDEO HERE. IT’S BEEN REALLY HARD. AND JUST LOSING SOMEONE, THE CLOSEST PERSON TO ME, YOU KNOW, HAS BEEN THE HARDEST THING IN MY LIFE TO EVER DEAL WITH. ENRIQUE’S MOTHER AND FIANCE BELIEVING THIS IS HIS WAY OF SHARING HIS SIDE OF THE STORY. I JUST WANT TO CLEAR HIS NAME AND I. I JUST WANT SOMETHING FOR MY SON BECAUSE NOTHING’S GOING TO BRING HIM BACK. FAITH EGBUONU KOAT ACTION SEVEN NEWS. WE
