The Metropolitan Opera has announced the 2025 Summer Encores, which will be presented between July 23 and August 13.

Here are the encore screenings.

Verdi’s “La Traviata” from Dec.15, 2018, will be showcased. The performance showcases Michael Mayer’s production starring soprano Diana Damrau and tenor Juan Diego Flórez. Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.

Encore Date: July 23, 2025

Nadine Sierra and Benjamin Bernheim star in Gounod’s “Roméo et Juliette” from March 23, 2024. Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Bartlett Sher’s production.

Encore Date: July 30, 2025

Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” from May 21, 2022, will be the third encore presentation. The production by Simon Stone stars soprano Nadine Sierra and tenor Javier Camarena. Riccardo Frizza conducts.

Encore Date: August 6, 2025

The final encore presentation will be Verdi’s “Rigoletto” in Michael Mayer’s production. The presentation from Feb. 16, 2023, stars baritone Željko Lučić, soprano Diana Damrau, and tenor Piotr Beczała. Michele Mariotti conducts.
