Martin Prime captured the men’s 60-64 sprint double at the Barbados National Senior Games, in Barbados, last month. The Trinidad and Tobago athlete won the 100 metres dash in 12.84 seconds and the 200m in 26.32.

Terrance Skinner also captured two gold medals. Skinner topped the men’s 75-79 100m field in 15.79 seconds and was victorious in the long jump with a 3.05 metres leap. He clocked 9.78 seconds for silver in the 50m dash. And in the standing broad jump, Skinner bagged bronze with a 1.55m effort.

There was gold for Raymond Smith in the men’s 65-69 category. Smith got to the line in 13.28 seconds to lead a one-two T&T finish in the 100m, the silver going to Rumaldo Noreiga in 13.38. In the 200, Smith and Noreiga earned silver and bronze, respectively, clocking 27.96 and 29.87.
