YEAH, MATTY ICE CONFIRMED THAT MORE THAN 60 OF THE PEOPLE ARRESTED DURING THE OPERATION REMAIN IN CUSTODY AT THE LINCOLN COUNTY JAIL, WHILE THREE PEOPLE FROM MEXICO VOLUNTARILY RETURNED AND THREE PEOPLE FROM GUATEMALA HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO LOUISIANA IN PREPARATION FOR THEIR FUTURE REMOVAL. IN VIDEO OBTAINED BY ICE, YOU CAN SEE A BUS DROP OFF PEOPLE WHO WERE ARRESTED TO A RUNWAY. THOSE CUFFED DETAINEES WERE LED ONTO A PLANE AND THEN FLOWN OUT OF OMAHA. IN A STATEMENT, SPECIAL AGENT MARK ZITO STATES THAT THE NARRATIVE THAT THESE ARE JUST HARDWORKING IMMIGRANTS LOOKING FOR THE AMERICAN DREAM IS LUDICROUS. HE GOES ON TO SAY, THESE CRIMES HAVE LASTING EFFECTS, AND THERE ARE REAL VICTIMS INVOLVED. OF THE THREE PEOPLE FROM GUATEMALA WHO WERE TRANSFERRED TO LOUISIANA IN PREPARATION FOR DEPORTATION, ONE HAD A FINAL ORDER OF REMOVAL IN 2019. According to ICE officials, three other people were in the country illegally from Guatemala and have been transferred to Alexandria, Louisiana, in preparation for their "future removal."
