Estonia expells another Russian citizen

The Estonian Internal Security Service (Kapo) together with the Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) have expelled a Russian citizen for threatening national security, ERR News reports.

Kapo announced on its social media accounts that Denis Ten had been expelled from the country. This was done to prevent the threat to national security posed by a man who collaborated with Russian special services. After crossing the border, Ten stated that the security service had ruined his life.

Ten’s case is the latest to be publicly reported. So far, Kapo has already expelled several Russian citizens in cooperation with the PPA.

On the 5th of April, Konstantin Gorlov was forced to leave Estonia, as he posed a threat to security and public order, while on the 5th of June, Russian citizen Sergei Filatov left the country. First, his residence permit was revoked, and then Filatov was deported. In such cases, individuals are most often literally escorted to a border checkpoint on Estonia’s eastern border.
