EMMY has sadly not qualified for the Eurovision Grand Final on Saturday despite a stellar performance.
This result follows last year's success, which saw Bambie Thug place sixth overall in the competition with their song Doomsday Blue.
Ireland competed third in tonight's semi-final, as Norwegian singer EMMY lit up the stage with her upbeat pop song Laika Party.

The song tells the story of Laika, a Russian dog who was sent to space in 1957, but sadly died from overheating and panic a few hours after take-off and never made it back to earth.
Other countries who performed tonight included Australia, Montenegro, Latvia, Armenia, Austria, Greece, Lithuania, Malta, Georgia, Denmark, Czechia, Luxembourg, Israel, Serbia and Finland.
The United Kingdom, France and Germany - who are part of the "Big Five" with Italy and Spain and automatically have a place in the final - also performed this year's entries.
But only ten performances could advance to the final, via a combination of public votes and jury votes.
Tonight's top ten will join The Big Five, last year's winner Switzerland, and Albania, Estonia, Sweden, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Ukraine, San Marino, Portugal, and Poland for the Grand Final.

EMMY was selected to represent Ireland at the Late Late Eurosong Special back in February.
Speaking to RSVP Live ahead of her Eurovision performance, the 24-year-old admitted she felt some pressure to build on last year’s success, but was very grateful to how accepting the Irish public were of Laika Party.
She said: “In one way, yes [there is [pressure], but also I feel like the Irish public have welcomed me so much and are so supportive.
“Many have told me they think I’ll qualify but if I don’t it’s okay, that I’ve already made Ireland proud. That means so so much to me.
“The only thing I can do now, when Ireland has chosen me, is to try to do my best and make Ireland proud because I was their choice.”
